Race Day Information and Resources
Race Tracking
This year we will use Webscorer to GPS track racers through the course. This will greatly enhance the ability of organizers to monitor the race, and will improve safety for racers in the event of a mishap. Friends and family will be able to track your progress on race day.
Instructions on installing and configuring are at (removed) It is a 10 minute setup. At least one person in each boat should install this, though all racers may choose to do so. Please take the time to set this up in the next few days.
We strongly encourage all racers to comply with installing this app. This app uses very little power, it only samples every 5 minutes, so will not run down your battery. It only requires permissions to access your location, and this location is available to all race participants and organizers. You can uninstall it anytime you wish after the race. Immediately after the race, the K2O organizer will delete the entire tracking account and cancel tracking of all participants.
